WATER QUALITY AND FISH HEALTH

EMERGENCY CALLOUTS

Sudden change in your fish's behaviour or worse, then quote "EC" in the "Get a Quote" section or call 07435 227197 for a same or next day callout.

WATER QUALITY

A staggering 90% of fish diseases, resulting in fish deaths are caused primarily from poor water quality, so its important that it's right, all the time.

Poor water quality is due to many reasons. The common culprits are overstocking or overfeeding.

At Ponds and Koi, we offer water levels testing and adjusting services as a standalone service to give you piece of mind that your fish are happy and healthy.

We offer the most thorough testing on the market, testing 14 different water levels, so if there's something wrong with the water, we will know what it is, what's causing the problem and provide the solution to fix it.

FISH HEALTH

Parasites, bacteria, white spot and swim bladder are just some of the many problems that can affect fish health.

These can occur at any time but are more likely to turn up when either the water quality is poor causing stress to fish, weakening their immune system or new fish are added to the pond.

We diagnose and create a treatment plan for your fish so you can be sure that your fish are getting exactly the right type and amount of treatment.

"I was never happy with my pond and I had plans to have it filled in. I wanted to give it one last chance, so I arranged for Nathan to do a full pond clean. I've had my pond cleaned before, but never to this standard. Afterwards, he suggested that we have a skimmer fitted as we have a lot of overhanging trees, which I went ahead with. 3 Months later my pond still looks great and the surface is like glass, I couldn't be happier."
